I don't have to much time to dig deeper, but why you need GCM for just downloading MMS like standard apps do (which not using Google Services). I think you can just somehow skip it, and download MMS like dozen apps on market do. With "Signal messages and calls" enabled, MMS are downloaded and displayed correctly. Re: messages stuck "sending" when I text in mms chains from Samsung to Iphone. AM. I have seen numerous forums about this but never an answer from verizon. It obviously is a verizon problem as it doesnt happen with the same situations on ATT or Sprint but Verizon seems unable to fix it.

One reason why you MMS is not working on your phone is that there is an issue with the Messages app. You can try to fix that by clearing the Messages app's app data. On your phone, go to Settings Apps notifications Messages Storage. Tap on the option that says Clear Storage followed by Clear Cache. The temporary files in your Android device in the form of cache can be the reason behind you being unable to download MMS. You will have to wipe the cache partition to resolve the problem. For doing so, you would have to enter Recovery Mode, and Tenorshare ReiBoot for Android can offer an excellent way to do this. I am not receiving all of my texts when in a Group text - MMS. I will receive all of my texts, however, if I am in a one-to-one text message. I have factory reset my phone, ensured that the MMS auto download is on, the service center flashed the phone, and I have done all the things.
